The Honor Guard and the Band of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus
The Demonstration band of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus was founded on the 1st April 1950 as the band of the headquarters of the Belorussian military district.
In 65 years of its existence the band has made a great contribution to the development of the Belorussian music art, consolidation of friendship between nations, and now actively works with the main composers, soloists and music ensembles in Belarus and abroad. Since 2008 the band is directed by the chief of the military bands' service of the Armed Forces — the chief of the «Demonstration band of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus» honored artist of the Republic of Belarus — Colonel Serguei Kostiuchenko.
