The 11th International Military Music Festival “Spasskaya Tower” is going to be held in Moscow in 2018.
Traditionally the “Spasskaya Tower” Festival is very popular among its participants and viewers. Ten spectacular and remarkable evening musical shows are held in the very heart of the Russian capital being the performances of some of the best Russian and overseas military bands and artistic groups framed into theatrical elements, light shows and fireworks.
The Festival long ago conquered the hearts not only of the Muscovites but also of foreign tourists, residents of the Moscow region and other parts of the country who intentionally plan their trip to Moscow within the dates of the “Spasskaya Tower” Festival. Traditionally to the joy of the organizers and to the sadness of the viewers on getting closer to the Festival all the tickets are sold out and it is impossible to buy them neither in box offices nor from official dealers.
“We couldn’t have stayed indifferent to this problem, last year it became very obvious. People tried to get tickets through social networks and the Internet, bought them very expensively secondhand. Some of them became victims of the speculators. As the frenzy increased more and more dishonest sellers appeared. We’ve also noticed that evening performances are being attended by entire families including families with small children. Parents are ready to watch the two or three hours show in any weather but it is very difficult for children as the show finishes late at night. Considering all these and discussing everything with all the participants we’ve decided to hold on September 2 the first ever daytime performance in the history of the „Spasskaya Tower“ Festival. It will be absolutely identical to the evening performance except for the fireworks and other pyrotechnical elements. But we will prepare other surprises and bonuses for the daytime performance”, told the Head of the “Spasskaya Tower” Festival Directorate Sergey Smirnov.
Mr. Smirnov has also noticed that tickets are already on sale.
“At the start of sales the tickets for the daytime show are twice cheaper than for the evening performances. They are available on the official website of the Festival. I want to ask our viewers to be careful and not to buy tickets from dubious dealers and random third parties”, highlighted Smirnov.
